Fear no more...

Mary Hambleton
July 23, 1917 - April 4, 2009

Fear no more the heat o' the sun,
Nor the furious winter's rages;
Thou thy worldly task hast done,
Home you've gone, rest is thy wages.

Fear no more the frown o' the great;
Thou art past the tyrant's stroke:
Care no more to clothe and eat;
To thee the reed is as the oak.

Fear no more the lightning flash,
Nor the all-dreaded thunder-stone;
Fear not slander, censure rash;
Thou hast finish'd joy and moan.
(Cymbeline, Wm. Shakespeare)

"Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11.28)

"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God
through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5.1).

Mary, we say goodbye to you on earth,
but, in Christ, we'll see you in heaven's glory.
